Denver Golf Course Communities

Douglas County Golf
Douglas County, as the fastest growing county in the United States, offers a wonderful selection of golf course communities:

30 Minutes south of downtown Denver and 15 minutes from the Denver Technological Center, Castle Pines Village is a world-class country club community built to harmonize with its 2,800-acre natural setting. Situated on ample lots shaded by mature trees and visited by wandering wildlife, its beautiful homes offer breathtaking panoramic mountain views. Castle Pines Village boasts two celebrated Colorado golf courses, the Golf Club at Castle Pines—home of "The International," and The Country Club at Castle Pines.

Castle Pines North is just one exit north of Castle Pines Village. The verdant greens of its beautiful, rolling The Ridge at Castle Pines North golf course and Pikes Peak views provide a lovely backdrop for the mix of old-line, moderately priced to large and upscale new contemporary homes here.

Pradera is a private golf club community nestled in a gentle 1,500 acre hillside in Douglas County, outside of Parker. Its lovely homesites, open space and tranquil setting surround the golf course. Residents enjoy a Community Center offering swimming, ball fields, play area and a network of trails. The Club at Pradera features a clubhouse, tennis, fitness, dining and other recreational activities. Golf and sports club membership options are available to all residents.

Also located in Parker, Timbers at The Pinery is another upscale community of custom homes on one-half to one-acre-plus sites. A forested terrain of mature pine and panoramic mountain views provide the backdrop in this 1,140-acre preserve with over 30% of the land committed to open space. Membership amenities include the Pinery Country Club facilities, racquet club, swimming pools, clubhouse, restaurant and High Prairie Farms, a world-class equestrian center.

Canterberry Golf Course and Plum Creek Golf and Country Club are located on the outskirts of Castle Rock and offer a variety of homes, from multi-family units to patio and semi-custom homes.

South of Castle Rock on quintessential Colorado land, are two of Colorado's best golf courses, Bear Dance Golf Club, home to the Colorado PGA and Perry Park Country Club. In the top ten of Colorado public courses, Bear Dance is surrounded by 47 carefully sited estate properties of 2 to 4 acres, within a gated community of 753 acres of breathtaking countryside. Perry Park also offers an attractive array of custom homes on approximately one-acre sites.

To the far north of metropolitan Denver west of I-25 are two nicely designed course communities: the private Ranch Country Club and the public Legacy Ridge Golf Course, both located in attractive established areas in Westminster.

Denver Country Club
A community rich in beauty, diversity and character, Denver Country Club continues to embody the vision of its developers: a neighborhood of affluence and prominence in the heart of the city. The Denver Country Club itself, located to the south of the area, was designed with the clubhouse at its center, complete with exquisite entertainment and dining rooms, and a gracious golf course on either side of Cherry Creek, which ran through its borders. Cherry Creek
Centrally located between I-25 and I-225 off Evans and Iliff Avenue, the gated resort-like new community of Cherry Creek Country Club combines metropolitan amenities with country club indulgences. Country Club membership amenities include use of the magnificent clubhouse and its dining facilities, fitness center and full-service spa, as well as golf. Residential opportunities include three tastefully designed communities nestled around the course: luxury custom homes at The Estates, enclave homes at The Villas and attached and detached patio homes in The Village.

Pinehurst
Pinehurst is an established country club community in southwest Denver. About half of the community's residents are members of the private country club at the community's center. They enjoy both a 9- and 18-hole well-designed golf course, attractive restaurant and meeting rooms, children's swimming pool and one of the finest year-round indoor tennis facilities in the city. Bounded on the north by Jefferson Avenue, on the south by Quincy Avenue, on the west by Pierce Street, and on the east by Wolff Street, Pinehurst includes several different areas. Pinehurst South and Pinehurst Estates offer attractive homes in mature communities. Pinehurst Village, on the north side of the country club, features impressive townhomes which wrap the golf course. The Fairways include elegant patio homes. The exquisite homes of Country Club North and Country Club South provide the best golf course and country club views. The crown jewel of the neighborhood, The Greens, features enormous custom homes.

Cherry Hills Village
Renowned for its rural atmosphere, luxurious homes, and quality of life, Cherry Hills Village is one of Denver's most affluent neighborhoods. Two distinct neighborhoods within the community include Cherry Hills Park, with splendid estates, many with European-style gardens and water fountains overlooking Cherry Hills Golf Course, and Glenmoor, which also attracts buyers to its elegant golf setting at the Glenmoor Country Club. A quiet, lovely community surrounding an 18-hole golf course and country club, Columbine Valley features several distinctive neighborhoods.

Western Denver
The western part of the metropolitan area includes several golf course communities closer to the scenic foothills in older, established areas with mature landscaping: Lakewood Country Club; Rolling Hills Country Club in Golden; Bear Creek Golf Club; Fox Hollow Golf Course within a 2,600-acre regional park; and the landmark Arrowhead Golf Club just north of Roxborough State Park.

Lone Tree Country Club
An Arnold Palmer-designed public golf course is at the heart of Lone Tree Country Club and community, which boasts beautiful fairways, executive suites and a 5,000 square foot clubhouse. In addition to the golf course, Lone Tree offers two swimming pools, tennis courts and jogging and cycling paths. Homes at Lone Tree range from town and patio homes to large, luxury estates.

Heritage Estates
Heritage Estates is a luxury lifestyle golf course community on the Arnold Palmer-designed Lone Tree Golf Course. The prestigious community includes 145 exceptional custom homes ranging from 3,700 to 5,600 square feet. Heritage Greens

The 25-year-old community offers convenient access to Park Meadows Mall, the Denver Technological Center and numerous restaurants and services. Neighbor- hood amenities include the South Suburban Golf Course, a community swimming pool, tennis courts and a playground.

Lone Tree, Heritage Estates and Heritage Hills are located just two minutes west of I-25 and Lincoln Street, and contain over 1,100 homes, all of which are situated either on or close to the golf course and adjacent to parks and greenbelts.

Meadows
Meadows "retail resort" is another feature that is making the neighborhoods in this area Douglas County's fastest-selling area of reasonably priced luxury homes. The surrounding area also offers excellent shopping and amenities, as well as access to the acclaimed Douglas County school system and many fine private and parochial schools.

Aurora
In the fast-growing southeastern corner of metro Denver in Aurora is Saddlerock Golf Club. Several custom builders offer larger homes around the public course, many with views of the surrounding undeveloped, natural countryside, and access to a scenic trail system for the collection of neighborhoods there. At the intersection of Arapahoe and Liverpool, this area is readily accessible to E-470, the Denver Tech Center, and Denver International Airport.

Two other private courses of note found in Aurora are Valley Country Club and Heather Ridge Country Club. Valley Country Club Estates offers the perfect balance between nature and city convenience. The neighborhood is warm and inviting, yet private and exclusive. This intimate community of only 80 homes offers mountain views, proximity to Cherry Creek State Park and an 18-hole private golf course next door. Located minutes from the Denver Technological Center and downtown Denver, the neighborhood is also served by the prestigious Cherry Creek school system.

Conveniently located between DIA airport and the Denver Tech Center, just off I-225 and Iliff Avenue, Heather Ridge Country Club winds through a picturesque residential setting of homes overlooking the Rocky Mountains. It prides itself on its diversity and family-oriented atmosphere.
